Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home support to patients who require assistance with daily living and basic health needs. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, professional, and committed to delivering safe, high-quality care in a home environment. Work week is Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 6hr days. Sunday shift will be around 3hrs.
Responsibilities
• Assist patients with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Support mobility needs, including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure)
• Maintain patient hygiene and a clean, safe home environment
• Document care accurately and timely
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to supervising staff
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development
Qualifications
• Home health experience: 3 years (Required)
• Caregiving experience: 5 years (Preferred)
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Personal Care Assistant (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to excellent care
• English proficiency (Required)
Preferred Skills
(Not required but beneficial)
• Experience with Hoyer lifts or other transfer equipment
• Basic wound care support
• Tube feeding assistance (if trained)
