About the Role

A family is seeking a compassionate, punctual, and highly reliable daytime caregiver to provide dedicated one-on-one care for a client in Dunwoody. This role supports daily personal routines, hands-on assistance, and peace of mind for the family during daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities

Mobility & Safety: Provide physical stability and steady guidance during transfers, walking, and daily movement.

Meal Prep & Feeding: Assist with soft/mushy diet preparation and safe eating support.

Medication Prompting: Assist with daily medication administration (e.g., given with applesauce).

Hydration & Monitoring: Offer close supervision during liquid intake to ensure safety and prevent coughing or aspiration.

Personal Care & Support: Assist with hygiene, restroom visits, and general comfort throughout the shift.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven Reliability: Strict adherence to schedule and dependable arrival times are essential.

4+ Years Minimum Hands-on Experience: Background in personal care, assistance with mobility, and physical transfers.

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safe swallowing techniques, aspiration risk precautions, mobility, and medication assistance preferred.

Clear Background: Must pass background check and professional reference checks.

Communication: Clear, attentive communication with the family and primary support contact.
